The parish council is arranging an informal afternoon for the village to come together and celebrate the 200th year of the Railway and the opening of our viaduct 176 years ago in 1849! Elmsworth Brass band will be playing and there will be duck races for adults and children. Bring your own food and drink and any proceeds made from the duck races, will go towards North Rode community projects such as the well dressing later this year, upkeep of our two defibrillators and future first aid courses we would like to run.
